Macromedia
Flash™ animation can be an exciting, interactive addition
to your web site, or can be used to build your entire site. Flash
incorporates vector-style graphics to make complex graphics and
animations download quickly. It is very versatile and can be
incorporated easily into your existing site.
You
can see some of our Flash creations
below (or on our home page). All new web browsers come will the
Flash player installed, but if you do not have the Flash player
plugin yet, visit Macromedia to
download it for free. It only takes a few minutes and
is a very small file.
Charles
R. Smith, Jr.,
Children's Author & Photographer
This
site features an "Easter Egg" created with Flash.
Mr. Smith wanted to make his site fun for the kids visiting
his site, so we created a fun game for them to discover ion
his site. Try
clicking the basketball below, then click
it again to see what happens-- there are four possible outcomes! Visit
the site to see the animation along with the rest of the
site.
Denise Dowling Mortensen, Children's
Author
For this site, Ms Mortensen wanted
to have a sound event for the roll-over effect on the navigation
buttons. We used Flash to allow for the complex sound events. Roll
over the buttons below to hear the sounds or visit
the site to see the animation along with the rest
of the site.
Eileen
Christelow, Children's
Book Author & Illustrator
This
Flash animation was designed as an interactive addition to
Ms. Christelow's site. She's a noted author and illustrator,
and this animation is designed to teach children about how
she creates her books. Try it out by clicking "Next" below
or see the animation in action live on her web
site.
Northeastern
Retail Lumber Association
Flash
is also a very effective way to introduce a homepage. For the
National Retail Lumber Association, we designed a short Flash
animation based on printed promotional material from the client.
Visitors are taken to the homepage of the site when the animation
finishes, or a Skip button (not seen here) allows visitors to
go directly to the site before it finishes. Click the "Replay"
button on the animation to see it again.

you don't see the Eileen Christelow and NRLA Flash animations
above, click
