NYAAEL

NYAAEL

We originally designed a site for the New York Association of Approved Environmental Laboritories in 2001. We recently redesigned and upgraded the site using the Wordpress content management system. The entire site is searchable and features an online store for paying dues and registering for events, a private members only area, and an online training program with email form tests. The Wordpress system includes a “control panel” which allows easy access for the director to process orders, edit the membership list, and update site content from any web browser. Forney Educational, Inc.

Forney detail

We originally did a site for author and presenter Melissa Forney in 2002. We recently did a redesign and major expansion of the site using the Drupal content management system. Melissa’s online store had more than tripled in inventory and she needed a robust web site to manage her hundreds of products and customers. The site also features a Blog for Melissa, easy access for her staff to edit the site news and other content via any web browser, and Flash roll-over navigation buttons. Visitors to the site can search for products, register for conferences, download educational handouts, and hear music samples of CDs for sale. Visit this site >>

Matthew McElligott

Matt McElligott

Promotional site for children’s book author and illustrator Matthew McElligott.

This site had to organize a large number of pages, so we split the content into main categories in the navigation bar and created folding sub menus that appear when clicking the main menu items.

The site features a searchable blog which Matt uses to record the events at his author visits. This write ups help prospective author visit clients see what Matt can do and what schools can do in preparation for the visit.

There are also several Flash animations throughout the site. On the Books pages of the site, animations and movies bring Matt’s illustration techniques to life. In the Games and Activities area of the site, there is a Flash MP3 player to listen to “Backbeard’s Pirate Radio,” and games highlighting the educational themes of several of Matt’s books.
